SPS Rose presented us with our final foal of the year, this one also by Fidertanz. Our THIRD boy this year! Look below; this little colt is exquisitely refined with the most beautiful face and head I've ever seen. He is a little rising star, with lots of 'boink' in his trot, and a sweet little inquisitive personality. Just below, meet FARO SQF!
05/01/2008 Another BABY BOY! Above meet FAHRENHEIT SQF, a drop dead gorgeous colt by Fidertanz out of SPS Withney by Wolkenstein II. This little guy is so beautiful and full of life, with a stunning head and neck, great angles, and an incredibly affectionate personality. And OOOOOH, that movement!!
03/31/2008 Its a BEAUTIFUL BOUNCING BABY BOY! Ramina presented him to us at sunrise this morning, and he is (surprise, surprise) absolutely wonderful! He is black-bay, but his hair has that silvery glint that makes me suspect he may shed out black like momma. His breeding: only Hotline x Ramina (Regazzoni / Ravallo / Atatueerk). His name? HABANERO SQF. Momma Ramina is now an Elite Hanoverian Mare!
03/23/2008 No, REALLY! How many horses are in the above photo?! Not sure what you see, but I see two mares I adore, two babies-about-to-be, and the get of the finest Hanoverian stallions on the planet! Spring on a breeding farm is time to wait impatiently for this year's babies, and dream about stallions for next year. Above, EMC Ramina and SPS Rose are more interested in the new lush Florida grass than in the world class bloodlines they carry.
01/18/2008 Con Bravo SQF is off to start his great dressage career! His new mom, Kacy, is moving him to Colorado where he will train for the FEI classes with the highly respected trainer Allison Dechant. I am SO excited that he will have the chance to fulfill his potential!! I plan to visit him every ski season.
11/1/2007 Well, I just got back from almost three weeks in Germany with the Hanoverian Verband. We talked horses 24/7 (well, actually that is pretty normal for me). I saw the elite riding horse and foal auction, the end of the 300 day stallion test, the end of the 70 day stallion test, the licensing and auctioning of the 2 1/2 year old stallions. Went to breeding farms across lower Saxony where we were welcomed by the local breeders, served wonderful food and coffee and plenty of schnapps ~ WOW! It was so very special.
I had an opportunity to discuss my breeding program with Dr. Ludwig Christman, the Hanoverian Verband Deputy Breeding director, and came home feeling really great about my horses and breeding direction. I got to meet IN PERSON some of the greatest stallions of all time: Weltmeyer, Wolkenstein II, Rotspon, Escudo I, Lauries Crusader, Contendro I, SO many more ~ O.K, it is true, I am quite the groupie!
9/11/2007 Balanchine SQF is off on his great adventure! He is moving to Hawaii (!), and has quite the travel schedule. He has to be in Miami this Thursday for his flight to Los Angeles, then spends a few days relaxing in California before his flight on to Honolulu. Mary will be waiting for him there with open arms, open trailer doors, and a pasture overlooking the beautiful blue Pacific Ocean. I am not making this up. I am a very responsible breeder, so I intend to continue to closely supervise Balanchine's development and training, including many personal site visits.
2/14/2007 Our newest mare, Ramina (Regazzoni x Ravallo) attained elite mare candidate status last August after winning her performance test at the Hanoverian inspections with a whopping rideability score of 8.5! As usual, Maya prepared and showed my mare to absolute perfection. Then, Ramina was also chosen to participate in the Saturday symposium, conducted by Scott Hassler, at the American Hanoverian Society annual meeting in January, 2007. Ramina is in foal to the Hanoverian sensation Hotline for a 2008 foal (so she will officially be ELITE), but then her full time job will be to tote me around.
Ramina ~ in foal to Hotline for 2008. BUT after that, THIS mare is for ME!
Jill, the groupie, with the great Contendro I. I think he likes me!

In every way, we work to give our foals and young horses the very best start in life and under saddle. I love to brag, but actually I've only added a generation or so to many generations of great breeding.
