SPS Rose
ROTSPON / WORLD CUP I

OOPS, I did it again.
I have acquired another 'overall 8' mare, once again with impeccable breeding.  A third
generation SPS mare with a disposition to die for.  An overall '8' in her studbook
inspection, and an '8.5' in her performance testing.
This is truly the most loving mare on the planet.

SPS Rose just gave us a magnificent Sandro Hit filly.
She is safe in foal to FIDERTANZ for 2008.

This will be our last foal this year, due around June 1st.
CAN'T WAIT!

SPS Withney
WOLKENSTEIN II / AALBORG

We imported our very first 'overall 8" mare, SPS Withney in the fall of 2003

We were rewarded with a lovely mare who is a JOY to be with, and an ATHLETE of incredible
kindness and heart.  A huge trot, a balanced canter, and beautiful legs.  AND, WOWEEE!
What a babies she has given us!  They inherit her powerful hind end, her gorgeous gaits
and her
jumping ability.

SPS Withney gave us a glorious filly by Sandro Hit, and is safe in foal to FIDERTANZ for 2008!

'A rule of thumb in the breeding world is that you can breed a mediocre stallion to a great
mare and still have a nice foal. BUT breed a great stallion to an undesirable mare? The results will
be disastrous. Temperament, conformation and talent are each critically tied to the mare's genetic
structure, a structure she passes from generation to generation.

Understanding the mare's crucial role in the breeding
process is an essential part of the breeding equation.'
EMC Ramina
REGAZZONI / RAVALLO

Well, I noticed that I'm breeding stupendous athletes with sound minds and great conformation,
but I keep selling them as youngsters.  Meanwhile, I'm somehow still riding my 18 year old TB
gelding.  What's THAT all about?!

So I was lucky to find Ramina.  I pretty much ordered my best friend and my trainer to get in the
car the very next day to beat several other people who were coming to see her.  We drove
down to meet her, and I bought her on the spot!

The first time I asked her to canter, her hind end went down and her withers came up in the front
and we smoothly transitioned into a fabulous balanced canter... HOLY COW!  I was in
SHOCK!  I'm headed for the Olympics after all!

Ramina is safe in foal to the Hanoverian sensation HOTLINE for 2008. When this foal arrives,
she will officially be an Elite Mare.  But after that, this mare is for ME!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It is impossible to overemphasize the importance of the motherline in modern
sporthorse breeding.  A stallion, no matter how wonderful,
CANNOT do it all on his
own.
Our mares have all been independently evaluated and found to be at the very
top of the Hanoverian breeding program.

All breeders love their mares, believe they are gorgeous and
think they absolutely
float when they go.

THE PLAIN STATISTICAL FACTS:

From 1999 through 2004, 932 Hanoverian mares were evaluated
in the USA at Hanoverian inspections.
Of those, only 13 scored an overall average of "8" or more.
That is
1.4%.

We have TWO overall "8" mares at SQF.
Life is SOOOO very short.  Let them help!
