Berlioz SQF, as you can see above, is CHROMED OUT to the MAX! And he doesn't even know it!
Or maybe the issue is he doesn't care. He has much more important stuff to do. Ummm, play. Rear
and paw at the other foals or at the sky. Nurse. Eat grass. Go ripping around the pasture. Doze. That
sort of stuff.
I saw Belissimo M several years ago when I was in Germany to see the Verdan riding horse and foal
auction. He and 7 or so of his sons and daughters were featured under saddle at the "Gala Evening"
preceeding the auction day. HOLY MOLY! He was breathtaking, but most impressive was his ability to
'stamp' his off-spring. All were super elegant, very, VERY leggy and light in body and movement.
Berlioz is my second Belissimo M foal. His half sister by Belissimo M (out of my Rotspon mare) was
co-champion of the 2010 Hanoverian foal inspections. Well, his half brother (by Fidertanz out of SPS
Withney) was co-champion at those inspections. We were on a roll.
Belissimo M has established his name as the sire of superior dressage horses who also have good
jumping ability and excellent ridability. Berlioz has beautiful conformation and is so calm and loving --
one of the best behaved foals I have ever had. Can't wait to see him under saddle. Let's see -- only 3
years until he can be in the show ring. He will be NOTICED for sure!
