Boarding
StarQuarry is located in North Central Florida only minutes from the University of
Florida. We have 30 acres of lush pasture, a lighted dressage ring, a jump course, and
some cross country jumps (including the DREADED water jump).

We occasionally have openings for boarders who are actively involved with their horses.
No "drop-offs", please!

We are often looking for people who share our passion (obsession?) for these lovely creatures.  

People who understand that taking care of horses is NOT glamorous ~ it is HARD work.  

If you have some horse experience, and think a day without horses is a day lost forever, well,
you will fit right in.

Breeding
I have been breeding for almost 20 years and, believe me,
it has been quite a ride.   I guess we all know the highs and
lows that are part of life with horses, but the swings of emotion
that come with breeding are HUGE!  The highest highs, and a
few heartbreaks over the years ~ but I can't imagine a spring
without foal watch and the joy of living with those sweet little
fuzzy, magnificent miracles.  

Meanwhile, my love affair with the Hanoverian horse continues  
                         completely unabated.
